Parents cancelling their children: Job, cancellation, and exception handling in Kotlin coroutines

Every coroutine needs a job. Surprisingly, this is what forms their relationship with their children. Not an easy relation – it involves inheritance, awaiting, cancellation, and exception handling. Even though those mechanisms might seem scary and complicated, they are actually really intuitive and reasonable, once you see them from the right perspective.
